Hello Outdoor Partners!
April always feels like things are starting to click into place around here. The trails are clearing up, the calendar is filling in, and that stretch of “April showers bring May flowers” starts to feel worth it as everything turns green again. There’s a lot happening across the Chippewa Valley right now, and even more just around the corner.
This month, we’re highlighting a big opportunity to support local trails through volunteering at the WORS Spring Cup, where every hour gives back to CORBA in a meaningful way. We’re also sharing updates on growing disc golf opportunities, new grants and funding cycles, and a range of events from the Fly Fishing Film Tour to Beaver Creek programming and a guided bird hike at Carson Park. You’ll also find new data reinforcing the impact of outdoor recreation across Wisconsin, along with local efforts to keep building that momentum here at home.
As always, there are plenty of ways to get involved, whether that’s signing up for youth mountain biking, planning ahead with the City’s new activity guide, joining in on the Eau Claire Marathon weekend, or even taking a morning to help with the Amazing Eau Claire Clean-Up.
See you out there!
