The Town of Seymour, Eau Claire County (pop. 3,340) has an opportunity for someone to make a big impact in a small community and is currently accepting resumes for the position of Road Crew. This position performs general construction and maintenance of town roads and town property under supervision of the Road Crew Supervisor.

General Duties and Abilities: repair and replace pipes and culverts, patch roads, bridge repair and maintenance, perform and/or assist with maintenance of tools and equipment, clear brush, assist in maintenance and repair of town property including buildings and grounds. This position performs snow removal and works weekends as necessary for snow removal and/or emergency road repairs. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. This position also requires the ability to operate all road equipment and hand tools used in the course of duties and to lift and carry 40 – 50 pounds frequently.

Work 40 hours (four and one-half days) per week, additional hours as required. Eligible for WI Retirement System (WRS), paid time off, and medical insurance allowance. Full-time Position Description available by request.
